Getting kix on your device
We offer three ways to access kix: the Android APK app, iOS browser access with home-screen shortcut, and the full web version on desktop. Each path is equally secure — your account, two-factor authentication, and payment methods work the same way across all three. Choose the option that fits your device and your preference.
Installation options for kix
Android users download the APK file directly from our kix site. iOS users open kix in Safari and add it to their home screen — no App Store needed. Desktop users visit kix.best in any browser. All three methods connect to the same account, so your balance and history sync instantly across devices.
We recommend the mobile app if you play regularly, because it's faster, uses less data, and sends push notifications. The browser version is perfect if you want to avoid downloading an app or if you're on a shared device.

App vs. browser: which is right for you on kix
The kix Android app is faster than the browser because it caches game data locally and loads pages without refreshing. You get push notifications for new markets, deposit confirmations, and withdrawal updates — features that don't work in the browser. The app also uses less data because we compress images and video streams. If you play daily or check odds frequently, the app saves time and battery. The browser version is ideal if you want to avoid downloading, if you're on iOS and prefer not to use the home-screen shortcut, or if you're on a shared device and don't want to leave your login cached. Both are equally secure — your two-factor authentication and encryption work the same way.
Troubleshooting kix installation
If you see a warning about "unknown sources" on Android, go to Settings → Security and enable "Install from unknown sources" or "Allow installation of apps from this source". This is a standard Android security feature — we at kix don't distribute through the Google Play Store, so Android requires this permission. Your device scans the APK for malware before installation, just as it would with any app store download. If installation fails, check that you have at least 50 MB of free storage and that your Android version is 7.0 or later. For iOS, if the home-screen shortcut doesn't work, clear your Safari cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data) and try again. If you're still having trouble, contact our support team — they can walk you through the process or help you use the browser version instead.
Data, permissions, and account security on kix
Our kix app requests permission to send notifications, access your device's storage (for caching game data), and use your internet connection. We never ask for permission to access your contacts, photos, or location — we don't need them. Your login credentials are encrypted end-to-end, and your payment information is never stored on your device. Every time you deposit or withdraw, the transaction is verified with two-factor authentication. If you enable 2FA in your account settings, you'll receive a code via SMS or email before any login from a new device. We recommend enabling 2FA even if you're the only person with access to your phone — it adds an extra layer of protection if your password is ever compromised. You can reset your password, change your email, or disable 2FA at any time from your account settings on kix.
